The tea was getting cold, winds seemed to grow stronger, Fog outside decreased the visibilty to a few meters and Sam had to go. It was now or never for him.... Stranded somewere down south was the guy who was about to loose everything he ever dreamt of. "Yes! I can do it. I will not fail myself." is what he said and put his hat on and left the Tea shop.
Not many days back Sam was the happiest person on the earth. He had a first class job with handsome salary and the sweetest of girl one can have. He was both loved and respected at office due to his dedication towards work and outside work he had all the love in the world. Ann was the girl of his dream and he could have done anything she ever whished him to do. But now that the girls parents were not in the favour of the relationship she shared with Sam, Ann had to leave. She got engaged to someone who was stranger to her. 1 more day and she would be married.
Sam tried calling Ann and got no response. He had to move fast and catch a bus to reach her 120 miles away from the city in a small town named gemsville. It took him all night to reach to his destination and was finally there. It was around 6:00 am in the morning and it was still cold. He started walking towards a small tea store and while having the Tea asked for Ann's address. Ann's father was a reputed man and people in the town knew him so he had no trouble finding her home. It was around 15 mintues walk from the tea shop. Now that he was at his destination he had lots of question's goin on in his mind. "How should i convince her parents? What shall I say?... Will they agree?" He walked upto the door and rang the bell. There was no response. He rang the bell for the second time. Out came an old man who appeared to be the servant of the home. Sam asked for Ann and said that he was Ann's friend.The servant went inside and Sam kept waiting.... around 10 minutes later another old man in his late 50's came out and asked Sam the reason for his visit. He was aware that Sam was the boy his girl loved a lot. They started discussing... Sam was trying hard to convince him.. Meanwhile Ann arrieved at the door. Sam was happy to see her almost after 3 months. Ann's father asked Ann... wether she still felt like she loves Sam. And the ans was "yes". The next line which her father said was "Jaa Ann jaa... Jeele apni jindagi... Sam se jyada khush tujhe koi nahi rakh sakta." :)
It was not so easy for Ann to go with Sam and the reason was bit complex. Ann was a simple and sweet girl with her own ethics. It had been 3 months since she
had seen or heard of Sam and she was absolutely not sure about the future of the relationship. Also she had made up her mind to marry the guy her parents
wanted her to. But most important of them all was recession. Due to economic slowdown almost all the nations and their companies were suffering from recession.
Sam's company was not making any profit and of late started incurring loses. So, They had decided to lay off some of the higher paid employees of the
company. When Ann got to know about this she visited the Church nearby and prayed for Sam. She asked God to save Sam's job and in return she will never marry
him. Sam's job was saved as apart from being highly paid he was one of the best performers in the office and firing an employee of his merit will do no god to the company. So, Ann was pity sure that it was just because of her prayer that Sam's employment remained unharmed and she had to give up Sam in return. :P
